THE PRACTICE I NEEDED

A place to be with what is here.

Dogwood Beach began with the practices I needed through breast cancer and caregiving. Meditation does not ask you to make pain meaningful, become calm on command, or turn healing into a performance.

HOW YOUR BODY MAY FEEL

For the moment you are actually living.

Experiencing cancer

Gentle practices that meet the exhaustion and uncertainty of treatment with a soft, steady presence.

Living with chronic illness

Meditation for the long seasons of illness, finding small pockets of stillness amidst chronic pain and fatigue.

Carrying care

A space for caregivers to lay down the burden for a few moments and reconnect with their own breath.

A 3-MIN PAUSE

One breath now.

A short, guided transition to help you move from what was, into whatever is coming next. No props required.

Take all the time you need.

WHY DOGWOOD BEACH EXISTS

I wanted the library I could not find.

The library I searched for during my own cancer treatment didn't exist. So I built it—a space with no quick fixes, no performance, and no expectations beyond the breath you are taking right now. It is a refuge for the weary and a companion for the changing body.

Listen your way in.

SOUND IS PART OF THE PRACTICE

Whether you find solace in the visual rhythm of nature, the deep field sounds of the forest, the warmth of the harmonium, or the guidance of a human voice, our library offers multiple pathways to silence and song.
